A Mother’s Blessing is a celebration of the pregnant mother and a way in which we honor the rite of passage from pregnancy to motherhood. It is a ceremony where women gather around the mother-to-be and hold the space for her and her journey and is a beautiful alternative or addition to the more baby-centred (and sometimes materialistic) baby shower.

We hope that this guide can aid more women to hold these spaces for their sisters and women in their life so that we together can create a culture shift that is way more mother-centred than now. A culture where mothers are honoured, trusted, and celebrated as the life-givers they are.
